Representative Cases

Mr. Meng has over 20 years of experiences in serving more than 150 international and Chinese clients with regard to the response of anti-dumping and countervailing investigations. As the founder of Hylands international trade group, Mr. Meng has led the group creating many “first” in the responses to MOFCOM investigations in China, such as the first product exclusion, first Price Undertaking agreement, first zero dumping margin, first no injury decision, first new-shipper review of countervailing duty in the history of China’s legal practice. Mr. Meng also has extensive experience in the antitrust issues, counseling many multi-national enterprises, on the matters from mergers review, antitrust investigation response, to anti-trust and anti-unfair competition litigations. Before entering into the private practice, Mr. Meng worked in MOFTEC (former MOFCOM) as the anti-dumping investigation handling official, where he co-drafted the Foreign Trade Law of the P.R.C., the Anti-dumping and Countervailing Regulation of the P.R.C., and many other key regulations related to international trade and foreign investment policy.
